To protect and improve the
environment, our Rural areas need:
-----
greater emphasis on buffers, wetlands, and nutrient management.
-----
Protection and enhancement of our remaining native plant
and animal communities.
-----
New biomass products
and markets that make soil & water conservation a
result of economic demand.
 |
And our Urban areas need:
-----
Urban planning and zoning that drives
low impact development.
-----
Installation of Best Management
Practices to improve storm water quality.
-----
support networks that encourage and reward sustainable
agricultural practices. |
